Our history

Our company was founded in 1968, and immediately started growing. In 1978, it was already able to design and manufacture products entirely in-house. An increase in production and expansion on international markets led to the establishment of Bigas International Autogas Systems S.r.l. IN 2000. Today, the company can count on an ever increasing number of retailers in Italy and abroad.

In 2015, Bigas joined the Cavagna Group, the most complete and best known group in the industry for the regulation and control of high pressure gases. The Cavagna Group offers the broadest and most reliable range of products in the field of technology and systems for controlling, regulating and storing compressed gases. Today, it employs over 1000 people around the world,and consists of nine vertically integrated manufacturing companies in Italy and nine others on the five continents. Its sales and distribution network reaches more than 140 countries around the world.
